For the purpose of promoting better understanding of Japan in other countries and developing economic exchanges between Japan and these countries, IIST organizes overseas mission dispatch programs sending abroad Japanese key figures including scholars, experts, and business leaders. The programs are designed to hold seminars introducing Japan’s economic and industrial situation to foreign countries and offshore business consultations as well as to conduct surveys on regions and industrial fields where trade and investment relations with Japan are expected to expand further in Asia and other emerging markets.
