A Message from the Conference Chairman |
I have great pleasure to announce the “WTO at 10” conference to be held in Tokyo on October 25-27 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the WTO. The conference will bring together an outstanding collection of speakers and panelists from around the world to address WTO- and other trade-related issues.The first day of the conference is a public symposium dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the WTO’s dispute settlement mechanism and the Appellate Body. On the second day we will examine broader issues relating to the multilateral trading system. On the third day we will discuss issues relating to regional integration in the Asia-Pacific region. The conference will be of interest not only to specialists, but also to a wider range of people engaged in international trade.I look forward to seeing you in Tokyo in October. |
