Shikoku Industrial Tour (FY2002)
For this tour, with the support of the Shikoku Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, participants visited Kagawa and EhimePrefectures, and furthered their appreciation of the economy, industry, history and culture of Shikoku.

A total of 11 foreign embassy personnel and foreign chambers of commerce and industry representatives
(Participants consisted of nine diplomatic personnel from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, United Kingdom, EU, and two chambers of commerce and industry representatives from Germany and Italy)

Despite the short schedule, the briefings and inspections furthered participants’ understanding of Shikoku and its economy, industry, history and culture. Furthermore, discussions with participants provided Kagawa and EhimePrefectures with many ideas as to the promotion measures to attract trade and investment.
Most participants had never visited Shikoku before, and found the trip very useful.
