IIST Study Mission on Cambodian Silk and Textiles


Outline


IIST dispatched two experts to Cambodia to visit companies and organizations operating mainly in the traditional silk business with such objectives and policies as "continuing traditional industries" and "creating employment for women in rural areas." Their mission was to explore the feasibility of regional development through silk goods in Cambodia in the future and the issues involved.
